Alexandra Day, MS, RDN

Alexandra Day is a registered and licensed dietitian with a diverse background that blends culinary artistry with clinical expertise. Before entering the nutrition field, Alex owned and operated Chez Vous Personal Chef Service in Newport, where she created custom dining experiences and developed a passion for translating wholesome food into joyful, everyday eating.

Today, Alex brings that same creativity and care to her work as a clinical and corporate dietitian across Rhode Island. She provides individualized nutrition counseling, develops care plans for patients in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, and collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes for chronic conditions, wound healing, and weight management. Her professional focus spans metabolic and geriatric nutrition, disease prevention, and evidence-based lifestyle change.

A graduate of the University of Rhode Island’s accredited dietetics program, Alex completed her Garden to Table Dietetic Internship with an emphasis on community nutrition and sustainable food systems. She also holds a Grand Diploma from The French Culinary Institute in New York City and a B.A. in Philosophy from Washington College, reflecting her lifelong curiosity and holistic view of wellbeing.
