What is a RDN?
What is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist?
Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, or RDNs, are the experts in evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine. RDNs can translate the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living. RDNs graduate with an advanced degree and then complete a six-month to one year comprehensive internship and training program. Dietitians then must study and pass a national board exam in order to become registered. RDNs use their nutrition education and expertise to empower individuals with positive lifestyle changes in order to create optimal wellness for life.
