Blood sample tubes in a lab rack for functional lab testing

Functional Lab Testing, Ordered and Reviewed by Your RINT Team

Testing, not guessing. Through our Fullscript dispensary, a licensed RINT provider can order specialty and blood lab tests for you. Then we go over the results with you and turn them into a food, lifestyle, and supplement plan. Most tests are at-home kits or a blood draw at a nearby lab.

Where Lab Testing Is Available

Fullscript lab testing is available in all 50 states, but the labs you can choose from depend on where you live:

  • New York: Fewer labs are available. Access Medical Labs, Diagnostic Solutions (GI-MAP), and Mosaic (OAT) are not available.
  • New Jersey and Rhode Island: Limited to select lab partners.
  • New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island: Orders are patient-pay only.
  • Hawaii: Most labs are available. A few, including Genova and Quest Diagnostics, are not.
  • Lab testing is not available in U.S. territories or Canada.

We'll confirm which tests are available to you before anything is ordered.

Lab Testing FAQ

Do I need to be a RINT patient to get lab testing?

Yes. A licensed RINT provider orders every test, and we review the results with you. Book a visit to get started. Existing patients can use their MNT session for the review.

Can I order labs if I live outside Rhode Island?

Yes, in most U.S. states. Options are more limited in New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Hawaii, and testing isn't available in U.S. territories or Canada.

Does insurance cover these tests?

Lab tests through Fullscript are cash-pay and can't be billed to insurance. Check with your HSA/FSA plan about whether you can use it.

Will my lab results give me a diagnosis?

No. Lab results are one piece of your health picture and aren't a diagnosis on their own. Your provider looks at them alongside your symptoms, history, and other findings.
