Meet Rachel

Rachel Young, CHES®, CCHW

Rachel has a Bachelors in Health Promotions, and she is both a Certified Health Education Specialist and a Certified Community Health Worker. She is passionate about a holistic approach to promoting health and wellness. As a facilitator of wellness workshops, she believes strongly that sharing evidence-based practices, enables individuals to make informed decisions about their health. In August 2024, Rachel became a Certified Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach. She is committed to empowering clients with the tools that will inspire them to tame triggers, conquer challenges, and achieve lasting lifestyle change.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys creating simple healthy recipes, listening to smooth jazz, and spending time with her husband and friends. She also finds staying active, either by taking walks or short fitness breaks during the day is key to reducing workday stressors and helping her to relax
