Our Medical Metabolic Weight Management Program
Who We Serve
This program is ideal for those who:
Struggle with stubborn weight, insulin resistance, or PCOS
Are tapering off—or considering—GLP-1 medications (e.g., Ozempic®, Wegovy®)
Experience fatigue, mood swings, or unexplained inflammation
Suspect hormonal shifts (adolescence, perimenopause, menopause, low testosterone)
Want a proactive, concierge-level roadmap instead of one-size-fits-all advice
What You Can Expect
While every journey is unique, most patients experience powerful, measurable improvements over the course of this 12-week program. Lab markers like A1c, fasting insulin, and inflammation levels often improve significantly—many clients see their A1c drop from pre-diabetic to normal range, insulin levels cut in half, and visceral fat decrease by 10–25%. But beyond the numbers, the real transformation happens in daily life.
The Program Framework

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How is this program different from other weight loss or nutrition plans?
This isn’t another cookie-cutter diet or generic meal plan. It’s a high-touch, medically supervised lifestyle medicine program designed to uncover and address the why behind your symptoms. You’ll work closely with a nurse practitioner and registered dietitians to create a plan that’s built around you.
We use advanced labs, wearable tools, and personalized monitoring to track your progress—not to overwhelm you, but to give you real-time insight into what’s working and what needs adjusting. This data helps us fine-tune your care, so you see meaningful, measurable results—whether that’s lower blood sugar, better sleep, reduced inflammation, or renewed energy.
Is this program covered by insurance?
This is an insurance-based program and most insurances do cover both RD and NP services. Depending on your insurance coverage for weight loss medication, some medications, including GLP-1s and/or bio-identical hormones will have an additional cost. We have discounted options for you for the highest quality products and they can be delivered directly to your door.
Who is this program for?
We work with clients 15 years and older who are struggling with insulin resistance, weight gain, fatigue, hormone imbalances, or post-GLP-1 tapering. Whether you’re navigating PCOS(M), prediabetes, or perimenopause—or just want to optimize your health from the inside out—this program is built for you.
Do you prescribe medications like Ozempic or GLP-1s?
Yes. Our nurse practitioner can prescribe GLP-1 medications (such as Ozempic®, Wegovy®, or compounded semaglutide) as well as other weight-loss prescriptions and bio-identical hormone therapy—when clinically appropriate.
Can teens join this program?
Yes. We accept clients age 15 and older. For teens, we conduct a thorough screening and involve parents or guardians as part of the support team. The focus is on energy, confidence, long-term health, and building a positive relationship with food—not just weight.
What happens after the Phase 1 & 2?
You’ll receive a personalized long-term plan and the option to continue with ongoing care, quarterly check-ins, additional testing, or group sessions. Many of our clients choose to stay on for continued optimization and support.
Is this program offered virtually or in person?
We offer both! You can choose full virtual access or a hybrid model (registered dietitians only) that includes in-person visits at one of our Rhode Island offices (if you're local). Group sessions and data reviews can be held virtually.
