What’s Included:
Comprehensive Initial Assessment
Your program begins with a detailed medical and lifestyle intake. This includes a full review of your health history, labs, medications, lifestyle habits, weight trends, and goals. Our team uses this data to create your individualized plan.One-on-One Medical & Nutrition Sessions
You’ll meet regularly with both a registered dietitian and a nurse practitioner to receive personalized, high-touch support. These sessions are designed to keep you accountable, guide sustainable lifestyle change, and optimize your care plan. Your dietitian will focus on nutrition, behavior, and metabolic goals, while your nurse practitioner provides clinical oversight, orders labs, and manages any prescribed medications—including GLP-1s or bioidentical hormones when appropriate. Working together, they ensure every step of your journey is supported, strategic, and tailored to you.Group Medical Nutrition Sessions
In addition to your 1:1 care, you’ll also attend small group sessions (6–8 participants) led by our NP and RD team. These sessions offer a supportive space to dive deeper into topics like blood sugar balance, hormone health, emotional eating, and sustainable lifestyle change—all while learning from others on a similar path. Many clients find these groups incredibly motivating and reassuring.Customized Medication & Supplement Plan
If appropriate, your nurse practitioner may prescribe GLP-1s, weight loss medications, or bio-identical hormones. Your RD may recommend nutrition supplements based on lab data and/or your specific needs to support metabolic health.Conventional & Functional Lab Testing
We use a blend of traditional labs and targeted functional testing to identify root causes of metabolic challenges. Labs are reviewed with you and used to adjust your care plan for the best possible outcomes.Ongoing Lifestyle Support
You’ll receive tools, education, and strategies for sustainable behavior change, including meal planning, stress management, movement, sleep optimization, and mindset work. Our approach is realistic, evidence-based, and tailored to your stage of life.Optional Add-Ons & Continued Care
After your 14-week intensive, you can continue with follow-up visits, group sessions, or additional support services. Many patients choose to continue long-term to sustain their progress and explore deeper hormone or weight optimization.
What You Can Expect
While every journey is unique, most patients experience powerful, measurable improvements over the course of this 14-week program. Lab markers like A1c, fasting insulin, and inflammation levels often improve significantly—many clients see their A1c drop from pre-diabetic to normal range, insulin levels cut in half, and visceral fat decrease by 10–25%. But beyond the numbers, the real transformation happens in daily life.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How is this program different from other weight loss or nutrition plans?
This isn’t another cookie-cutter diet or generic meal plan. It’s a high-touch, medically supervised lifestyle medicine program designed to uncover and address the why behind your symptoms. You’ll work closely with a nurse practitioner and registered dietitians to create a plan that’s built around you.
We use advanced labs, wearable tools, and personalized monitoring to track your progress—not to overwhelm you, but to give you real-time insight into what’s working and what needs adjusting. This data helps us fine-tune your care, so you see meaningful, measurable results—whether that’s lower blood sugar, better sleep, reduced inflammation, or renewed energy.
Is this program covered by insurance?
This is an insurance-based program and most insurances do cover both RD and NP services. However, some medications, including GLP-1s and bio-identical hormones will have an additional cost, but we have discounted options for you for the highest quality products and they can be delivered directly to you. We’ll provide you with a superbill if you'd like to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Who is this program for?
We work with clients 15 years and older who are struggling with insulin resistance, weight gain, fatigue, hormone imbalances, or post-GLP-1 tapering. Whether you’re navigating PCOS(M), prediabetes, or perimenopause—or just want to optimize your health from the inside out—this program is built for you.
Do you prescribe medications like Ozempic or GLP-1s?
Yes. Our nurse practitioner can prescribe GLP-1 medications (such as Ozempic®, Wegovy®, or compounded semaglutide) as well as other weight-loss prescriptions and bio-identical hormone therapy—when clinically appropriate.
Can teens join this program?
Yes. We accept clients age 15 and older. For teens, we conduct a thorough screening and involve parents or guardians as part of the support team. The focus is on energy, confidence, long-term health, and building a positive relationship with food—not just weight.
How long is the program and what does it include?
The program runs for 14 weeks, with weekly visits (either 1:1 or group), lab testing, personalized nutrition and supplement planning, medication management (if applicable), and high-touch lifestyle support.
What happens after the 14 weeks?
You’ll receive a personalized long-term plan and the option to continue with ongoing care, quarterly check-ins, additional testing, or group sessions. Many of our clients choose to stay on for continued optimization and support.
Is this program offered virtually or in person?
We offer both! You can choose full virtual access or a hybrid model (registered dietitians only) that includes in-person visits at one of our Rhode Island offices (if you're local). Group sessions and data reviews can be held virtually.
