Meet Alexandra

Alexandra Day, RDN

Alexandra is a dedicated and passionate dietitian focused on providing education, support, and guidance to her clients. Originally from Maryland, she earned her B.A. in Philosophy from Washington College before attending The French Culinary Institute in New York City. Her belief that “food is the foundation of health” led her to blend her culinary and philosophical backgrounds, returning to school to complete her B.S. in Food and Dietetics at the University of Rhode Island, followed by a 1,000-hour supervised Dietetic Internship.

For over 15 years, Alexandra has called Newport, RI home. She has experience working with older adults in both acute and long-term care settings and now helps clients navigate medical conditions and achieve lasting lifestyle changes. She also enjoys teaching nutrition classes and empowering individuals to reach their personal health goals.

Outside of work, Alexandra loves Barre, walking, reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family, including her children and pets. A passionate gardener and beekeeper—with plans to add chickens soon—she embraces new adventures and continues to live out her philosophy of nurturing health through food and mindful living.
