Medical Metabolic Health Program

A Clinical Reset for Metabolism, Hormones & Life

Our Medical Metabolic Health Program is a high-touch wellness experience designed for individuals ages 15 and up who are ready to take control of their metabolism, hormones, and long-term health. Guided by a team of Registered Dietitians and a Nurse Practitioner, this comprehensive program combines advanced lab testing, wearable tracking tools, and personalized nutrition and lifestyle protocols to uncover and treat the root causes of stubborn weight, insulin resistance, PCOS, chronic fatigue, and inflammation.

Our integrative care model supports both teens and adults, offering medically supervised options including GLP-1 medications, weight loss prescriptions, and hormone therapy where appropriate. Whether you're struggling with early metabolic dysfunction or seeking a structured, science-backed path to sustainable wellness, this program provides clarity, accountability, and the expert support you need to test, track, and transform.

Our Medical Metabolic Health Reset Program

This Program Is Ideal for Those Who:

  • Struggle with stubborn weight, insulin resistance, or PCOS

  • Are interested in a comprehensive weight loss program that combines medication, nutrition, and lifestyle protocols

  • Are considering GLP-1 medications (e.g., Ozempic®, Wegovy®) as part of their care plan

  • Constantly think about food, rarely feel full, or feel out of control around eating

  • Experience persistent “food chatter” or emotional hunger

  • Feel fatigued, moody, inflamed, or hormonally off

  • Suspect hormone imbalances such as PCOS, perimenopause, menopause, or low testosterone

  • Are looking for a proactive, personalized, high-touch roadmap—rather than a one-size-fits-all diet

What’s Included in the Medical Metabolic Health Program

Initial Comprehensive Assessments:

  • Comprehensive Nutrition Assessment with Registered Dietitian
A deep dive into your nutrition history, eating patterns, lifestyle habits, symptoms, and health goals. Your RD will assess your current dietary intake, relationship with food, and metabolic risk factors, setting the stage for a personalized, sustainable nutrition and behavior change plan.

  • Initial Medical Intake with Nurse Practitioner
A thorough clinical evaluation reviewing your medical history, labs, current medications, and metabolic and hormonal health. Your NP may order additional labs, initiate prescriptions (ie. GLP-1s, weight loss medications, bioidentical hormones), and begin developing your medical treatment plan in collaboration with your RD.

  • Body Composition Tracking
Your progress is measured beyond the scale. We assess body composition at the beginning of your program and again at 12 weeks to track meaningful changes in fat mass, muscle mass, and metabolic function. This data helps guide your plan and fine-tune nutrition, medication, and movement strategies for optimal results. Patients will need to come in-person to our East Greenwich or North Kingstown locations for body composition testing. Body composition testing or tracking is not required, but is highly recommended for the most optimal assessments of body composition over the course of the program.

Ongoing Support:

  • Monthly Follow-Up Visits with Your Nurse Practitioner
Provides clinical oversight, medication management, lab interpretation, and ongoing adjustments to your medical plan.

  • Bi-Weekly One-on-One Visits with Your Registered Dietitian
Provides ongoing accountability, targeted nutrition assessment, and expert guidance tailored to your medication plan. These sessions focus on optimizing GLP-1-related nutrition strategies—such as protein intake, blood sugar balance, meal timing, and digestive support—while refining your lifestyle habits based on labs, symptoms, and real-time progress.

  • Access to Group Medical Nutrition Therapy Sessions
Led by your dietitian and a health coach care team, our group sessions sessions offer expert-led guidance, education, and added motivation. Choose from a number of group medical nutrition therapy sessions available each week, where we focus on topics such as balanced eating, hormone balance, meal and snack planning, healthy digestion, blood sugar regulation and more.

  • GLP-1 Support Group
You’ll gain access to our monthly GLP-1 Support Group. Led by your care team, these live sessions provide connection, accountability, and encouragement from others on the same path.

  • Lab Testing
We utilize both conventional labs (which may be billable through insurance) and optional add-on functional testing as needed to uncover root causes of metabolic dysfunction. Your NP will review your labs in detail and make personalized adjustments to your medications, supplements, and lifestyle plan accordingly.

  • Lifestyle & Behavior Support
You’ll receive structured guidance around core pillars of health—nutrition, movement, stress management, sleep, mindset, etc. Tools, resources, and education are provided through our secure patient portal.

  • Progress Monitoring & Weekly Tracking (Precision Plan)
Comprehensive members benefit from ongoing monitoring of nutrition logs, wearable data (like CGM or Oura), symptom trends, and biometric feedback. Your team reviews this data weekly to make real-time adjustments and ensure your plan evolves with your progress.

  • Private Messaging Access (Precision Plan)
Direct access to your care team between visits for quick questions, accountability check-ins, and ongoing support. This high-touch communication ensures your plan stays aligned with your evolving needs and goals.

  • Optional Add-Ons & Continued Care
Looking to go deeper? Optional enhancements include additional 1:1 dietitian sessions ($175/session), CGM monitoring and review ($199/month), expanded lab panels (custom pricing), and bioidentical hormone prescription management (custom pricing). After completing your initial program, your care team will work with you to create a plan for next steps and advanced care planning.

  • NOTE: Medications, functional lab testing, and supplements are not included in the monthly fee and may incur additional costs.

What You Can Expect:

While every journey is unique, most clients experience powerful, measurable improvements over the course of this 12-week program. Lab markers like A1c, fasting insulin, and inflammation levels often improve significantly—many clients see their A1c drop from pre-diabetic to normal range, insulin levels cut in half, and visceral fat decrease by 10–25%. But beyond the numbers, the real transformation happens in daily life.

Clients report more consistent energy, fewer cravings, improved sleep, better mood stability, and feeling “clearer” and more in control of their health. For teens and adults alike, it’s about finally understanding what your body needs and seeing those changes reflected in how you feel—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Whether your goal is to come off medications, improve labs, or simply feel like yourself again, this program is designed to help you get there—with support at every step.

A Thoughtful Approach for Teens (Ages 15–17)

We welcome individuals ages 15 and older, and take special care when working with teens. Every adolescent participant is screened thoroughly and supported in partnership with their parent(s), guardian, and care team. Our approach prioritizes long-term health, emotional well-being, and evidence-based guidance that empowers—not pressures—young clients.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How is this program different from other weight-loss or nutrition plans?
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all diet. It’s a high-touch, medically supervised lifestyle-medicine program that finds and fixes the why behind your weight and metabolic issues. You’ll partner with our Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Registered Dietitians (RDs) to build a plan around your biology, schedule, and goals. We layer in advanced labs, wearables, and real-time data so we can adjust quickly and deliver measurable results—better blood sugar, deeper sleep, lower inflammation, and renewed energy.

Is this program covered by insurance?
No. It’s a private-pay, concierge program. Going outside of insurance lets us spend more time with you, order deeper testing, and offer flexible support without red-tape delays.

Are any pieces eligible for insurance reimbursement?
Sometimes. Many insurers reimburse:

  • 1:1 Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) sessions with an RD

  • Standard labs (metabolic panel, lipids, A1c, basic thyroid, etc.)

We’ll provide superbills or in-network lab orders when possible and walk you through the claims process.

Who is this program for?
Clients 15 and older dealing with insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, PCOS, medication-related weight gain, or stubborn weight-loss resistance.

Do you prescribe medications like Ozempic® or other GLP-1s?
Yes—when clinically appropriate. Our NP can prescribe GLP-1 medications, other weight-loss prescriptions, and bio-identical hormone therapy. Ongoing NP visits are required to keep prescriptions active and doses safe.

Can teens join this program?
Yes. For ages 15–17 we run a thorough screening, involve parents/guardians, and focus on confidence, energy, and healthy habits—not just the number on the scale.

How long is the program and what does it include?
It’s a 12-week intensive:

  • Comprehensive kick-off visits with both an RD and NP

  • Weekly touchpoints (1:1 or group)

  • Targeted labs, personalized nutrition, supplements, and medication management

  • Wearable tools (e.g., CGM) if included in your package level

What happens after the 12 weeks?
You’ll receive a custom long-term plan. If you’re on prescription medication, you must continue NP appointments for refills, dose changes, and lab monitoring. Most clients continue with their one-on-one and group RD sessions as well on for ongoing optimization, accountability, and personalized wellness planning.

Is the program virtual or in-person?
Your choice. RDs are available virtually and at three Rhode Island locations. The NP currently sees patients virtually only.

Can I join if I live outside Rhode Island?
Not yet. We’re Rhode Island-only for now but plan to expand; join our waitlist for updates
